So, first of all, Chapter 22 of Damn It is now up. There will only be one or two more chapters of this story, depending on whether or not I decide to break it up or let it be one long chapter. I promise you a good and complete ending to this story. Its pending finale is making me feel pretty bittersweet. But, I’ll get into all that when the time comes. For now, enjoy the new chapter and let me know what you think.

Becca and I are continuing to post 4 chapters a week of Standing In the Shadows and are actually about to start on our second collaboration, which we’ll be unveiling soon!

Also, the ending of Damn It will free me up to finally start working on Fine, Fine Line, which is, as most of you know, the sequel to Tumbling Down. If you haven’t read Tumbling Down yet, I’m just going to have to encourage you to do so, so that you can read FFL once I start posting it!

Tumbling Down

Today marks the end of Tumbling Down. Chapter 15 and the epilogue have been posted. I love this story and just wanted to say a huge thank you to those of you who have been following this story with me while I wrote it. This is my first finished chapter story and it’s been so nice to know that there are others out there who liked the story as well. Sorry to have left you with such a nasty cliffhanger at the end of Chapter 14, but it just had to be that way.

Finishing this story made me realize that Cameron and Taylor’s story just isn’t over yet, and I will therefore eventually be writing a sequel, probably to be started after Damn It is complete. I’m not ready to let go of the characters yet and I feel that there is a lot more that needs to be said.

Shoutouts go to Kristin, Becca, Nikolett, Dannie, Mel, Kristy, and Becky for commenting in the gbook on Chapter 14. I hope that people find the ending satisfactory. It is not at all the ending I had originally intended for the story, but Cameron wound up taking it in a very different direction and I have to say that I’m very happy with the way the story ended. That being said, I’m already plotting for the sequel, so expect lots more from her in the future.

Today’s update is the second to last chapter of Tumbling Down. It’s so weird to think that I’m almost done with the story, but it’s to the point where it needs to finish. I wish it could have been a bit longer, but I’m not going to add things that are unnecessary just to add a few chapters. It’s going to end right where and how it needs to, and that’s all I can really do.

Other exciting news for Tumbling Down is that it’s been nominated for 2 awards at the Soundtrack Awards, it’s first nominations! I’m really excited, and thank you so much to whoever did that. Seriously.

Nominations end today at the Chaos Into Art awards and end in two days at the Soundtrack Awards, so get your last minute nominations in. I did!

I finally finished my story for The Spark Inside and shipped it off to Brittney. I already have a site made for it, so I’ll post that link after it’s been officially released by the challenge site. I hope you like it. It’s a bit dark, but I think the plot I eventually settled with goes pretty well with my theme. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what everyone thinks!

Tonight’s update is the next chapter of Damn It! It’s not the most exciting chapter, but I had to get to the point leading up to Esme’s journey to the Hanson’s for Thanksgiving, which will be taking place over the course of the next few chapters. When those will be posted, I don’t know, because in the next week my efforts will be focused on finishing my story for The Spark Inside and working towards the completion of Tumbling Down.

Chapter Thirteen of Tumbling Down is now posted, and it’s one that I’m both pretty proud of and also struggled a great deal to put down in words. A lot happens in this chapter, much is which isn’t particularly good or chipper, and some proverbial shit hits the fan. ::sigh:: I really don’t have much else to say. I’m really curious to see what you all think of this one.

Well, I have no story updates, but I have added a few things to the site. I added a few lovelies to the sidebar including the resurfacing of my tagboard, a current project section, a revamping of the disclaimer, etc. I also added a long and completely unnecessary survey to the author section, so if you want to read a bunch of my pointless ramblings, go check that out. I’ll probably deem it completely useless in a few days and delete, but I’m slightly delirious with boredom right now and that’s how it made its way onto my site.

As for Tumbling Down, I’m still trying to figure out how to end it, or rather, whether I should make it in two parts with a sequel, or just end it sometime soon. I still haven’t decided what’s best for the story. And seriously, thank you so much to Kristy, Becca, Becky, and Kristin who have been following the story and giving me feedback throughout. I love to see what you guys have to say, and thank you to those of you who read it and don’t leave comments. You all are awesome, too.

Some big things are coming up in Damn It, and that’s why I want to take it slow with putting it online. This way I can make sure it’s done right. Thanks to those of you being patient with me on that. Damn It has been nominated for two awards at The Soundtrack Awards already and I’m so excited about that. Please be sure to go do your last minute nominations there before they close there and at Eva’s Chaos into Art awards!

Well, I managed to actually wait a week before updating Tumbling Down, but Chapter Eleven is now posted. A lot happens in this chapter and it’s longer than the last, so I think people will be pleased with that. Thank you to everyone who commented on the last chapters of both Tumbling Down and Damn It. You guys are what keep me going.
